South Arkansas College sophomore third baseman Kenner Lauterbach of Benton, Louisiana, has been selected as an NJCAA Division II baseball Honorable Mention All-American.
Lauterbach completed his junior-college eligibility with a season in which the two-year starter batted .479 — second in the country among players with at least 100 at-bats. The Stars finished 38-17.
Lauterbach now is the second SouthArk athlete to achieve NJCAA All-American status. He joins former Star teammate Justin Szymanski, who was selected for the same honor a year ago after completing his JUCO eligibility at SouthArk last season.
