The South Arkansas College men’s basketball team connected with the El Dorado community on January 22, hosting a high-energy basketball and skills training session at the El Dorado Boys & Girls Club. Players worked closely with local youth in a lively gym filled with enthusiasm, encouragement, and positive engagement.

Head Coach Eric Collins stressed the importance of community involvement.

The outreach event highlighted the program’s commitment to mentorship and service while strengthening its relationship with El Dorado’s youth.

With inclement weather postponing games this week, the Stars will be back in action at home on Monday, February 2nd against Shorter College at 5:30 pm.

South Arkansas currently is in first place in its region, holding a 7–2 conference record and 9–6 overall. The Stars will host a packed slate of home games on February 2, 4, 7, 11, 14, and 21, and the program encourages the community to come out and support a team making an impact both on and off the court.
