South Arkansas College’s men’s basketball team will take the court at one of the premier recruiting events in the state this fall. The Stars are set to compete in the 2025 Arkansas JUCO Showcase, hosted by National Park College on Saturday, September 20, in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
The annual showcase, sanctioned by NJCAA Region 2, brings together junior college basketball programs from across Arkansas to highlight their talent in front of four-year college coaches and recruiters. Doors open at 9:00 a.m., and all four-year coaches are invited to attend.
South Arkansas College is scheduled to play in the final game of the day at 5:30 p.m., giving the Stars a prime opportunity to showcase their skills in front of a large crowd of scouts and basketball fans.
Other participating colleges include Southeast Arkansas College, National Park College, North Arkansas College, ASU Mid-South, UA Cossatot, SAU Tech, Phillips County College, and ASU-Newport.
“We don't take this opportunity lightly. Whether there are college coaches in the gym or not, we're doing things the right way,” said South Arkansas College Head Coach Eric Collins. “Our guys work hard, keep up with their grades, and carry themselves with discipline on and off the court. We're proud to represent El Dorado and the South Arkansas College brand and are proud of the standards we hold in this program."
The showcase will be held at 201 Rockefeller Drive, Hot Springs, AR 71913.
